I originally came to photography as a way of telling people’s stories. With a background in photojournalism I tend to be more of a documentarian than a director during weddings and family photo sessions.

At family photo sessions, we’ll have a good time. We will play. Your kids will have time to ease into being in front of my camera. There is no hurry and my goal will be not just to get great pictures of your family but also to capture photographs that show the connections between the members of your family. Every family is different and we will tailor the photo session to fit yours. Have a favorite stream that your kids like to romp around in? Let’s go there and do that. Is the best time of day for your family and kids 7:00 am (or earlier)? Let’s schedule the photo session for that time. You know your family. I know photography. We’ll work together to come up with a plan for the photo session.

At weddings, simply put, I will be there to document your day. I love weddings. I love the smallest details. I love the grand gestures. I love the mixing of family and friends. I love ruffles, and rustic, and unexpected moments. There is nothing better than photographing people who are surrounded by their favorite people. You will spend a lot of time with your wedding photographer so it’s important that you feel comfortable with them. If you’ve looked through my website and think I might be a good fit for your wedding day, let’s grab a cup of coffee and talk. Can't wait to meet you and hear about the day you are planning.
